In her words
The search for “more.”
“I’ve been searching for more in my life since I was a little girl. I kept achieving — finishing my studies summa cum laude, rising to national recognition — yet I still felt empty, like I was sleepwalking through my life. I had the feeling, there must be more than this — which later became the title of my first best-selling book.”
“Then I began working with people facing immense challenges and developmental disabilities. Their unfiltered emotions, acceptance, and joy in their successes showed me that this was the ‘more’ I had been missing — and that perhaps success was not what I thought it was.”
“This realization led me to a life-long transformation — to live fully, feel deeply, and help others embrace genuine, vulnerable love and their own authentic success. Now I want to show you how to live authentically the life you love. Let’s work together to welcome everything possible for your one extraordinary life.”
What I believe
Higher Power, Divine Love, God — it doesn’t matter what or who you connect to, only that you connect deeply to something bigger than yourself. I’m here to help you bring that connection to every part of your life — career, relationships, family, leadership — so you can live with the highest consciousness of who you are and who you can become.— Dr. Judith Wright
The work
Judith Wright is equal parts spiritual traveler, empath, rabid researcher, educator, and neuroscience nerd. Called one of “America’s Ultimate Experts” by Woman’s World and “one of the most sought-after self-help gurus in the country” by the San Francisco Chronicle, she is an inspirational speaker, respected leader, world-class coach, and best-selling, award-winning author.
A media favorite, Dr. Wright has been featured in over 1,000 media appearances — including Oprah, Good Morning America, the Today show, and ABC’s 20/20. A trailblazer in human development, her research integrates findings across neuroscience, psychology, existential philosophy, social science, spiritual study, and behavioral economics — distilled into teachable, learnable, applied life skills that lead to exciting, predictable personal transformation.
The journey
A marvelous adventure of the heart.
Her path runs from “a chubby girl growing up in the factory town of Flint, Michigan” to author, public speaker, lifestyles and relationship expert, and executive coach. Early on, she sensed there was something bigger in the world — and was often ridiculed for her ideals, put down for standing out.
She finished her undergraduate and graduate studies summa cum laude and built model programs for people with disabilities and families of developmentally disabled children. A divorce and a move to Chicago followed, where she started her own personal-growth business, coaching and leading seminars — and discovered “what it really means to be a woman in a relationship: the power of vulnerability, total honesty, and open-hearted living.”
Then came Bob. “Before I was with Bob, I had no idea that a relationship could be an ever-growing adventure of intimacy and discovery — that fighting could bring you closer, that hard truths are way more intimate than being nice, that I could be myself, all of me, while being loved and continually falling more deeply in love.”
Together they pursued doctorates and poured their research into human potential — a groundbreaking study of “the neuroscience of changing your life for the better, forever.” They co-founded the Wright Foundation and the accredited Wright Graduate University for the Realization of Human Potential, offering master’s and doctorates in transformational leadership and coaching. Judith served as President, Chief Academic Officer, and Professor of Transformational Education, and put their work into the books The One Decision, The Soft Addiction Solution, Transformed!, and The Heart of the Fight.
When Covid hit, they pivoted to delivering experiential trainings online all over the world. Today Judith develops “online products, seminars, and curriculum on demand, for people to experience our proven approach worldwide” — the very idea behind WrightNOW. It’s all mixed with biking and cross-country skiing in the Kettle Moraine, dates with her husband, spiritual travel, and “continually emerging and transforming, becoming someone I’ve not been before.”
We’ve always felt that our couples work was, perhaps, our most significant contribution.— Dr. Judith Wright, on the work behind The Heart of the Fight
