CRI — Coach Research Institute

The institute · backed by research

The Coach Research Institute.

The research body that undergirds the LiveWright method — conducting the studies, training the coaches, and proving the work.

CRI — the Coach Research Institute — is the institutional home of the LiveWright method. Where the programs deliver the transformation, CRI is the layer beneath them: it conducts the research that proves the work, trains and serves the coaches who carry it, and makes coaching accessible to more people in exchange for joining the research. It is the IP anchor and the credibility engine for everything LiveWright does.

Conceived by Dr. Bob Wright, CRI takes 35+ years of practice and gives it an institution — so the method isn't just practitioner-led, it's research-grounded, measurable, and built to outlast any one coach or cohort.

What CRI does

One institute, three pillars.

Conduct research

Studies, validated assessments, and papers that advance the coaching field — rooted in Dr. Bob & Dr. Judith Wright's research on limiting beliefs and the neuroscience of change.

Serve & train coaches

Professional development, the Certified LiveWright Coach Program, certification, and client referrals — building a global bench of CRI-certified coaches.

Research-backed coaching

Discounted coaching for people who join the research. Their participation is the value exchange — and the data that proves the method works.

Proving what works.

For years, LiveWright has asserted that the full program beats coaching alone. CRI exists to prove it. A quarterly battery of validated assessments — once part of the program, now being reintroduced — tracks real change across cohorts over time. For the first time, the method's outcomes become measurable, comparable, and publishable.

That same progress data does double duty: coaches use it to adapt their approach in real time, meeting each participant exactly where they are.

How the exchange works

Join the research, get coached.

A simple deal — and a win on both sides.

1

Opt in

Enroll through CRI and consent to be measured — your progress becomes part of the study.

2

Get coached for less

Research participants get coaching at a lower price — the value exchange for joining the study.

3

Take the assessments

A short battery each quarter tracks your growth — and the cohort's — over time.

4

Prove & improve

Your data helps prove the method and sharpens the coaching for everyone who follows.

Legitimacy you can stand behind.

CRI is what lets LiveWright stand behind a real method, a real body of research, and real credentials — not just a brand. It builds on the accredited Wright Graduate Institute heritage, and charts a path toward ICF alignment: continuing-education credits (CCEUs) toward renewal today, an accredited coach-training pathway tomorrow.

Working concept

CRI is an active initiative. Some mechanics — the research-consent flow, the discount structure, the ICF pathway, and the market-facing track name — are still being finalized with Dr. Bob and the team.

Backed by research. Built for life.

Join a method that doesn't just claim results — it measures them.
